5S is the name of a workplace organization method that uses a list of five Japanese words that begin with the alphabet ‘S’.,
The list describes how to organize a work space for efficiency and effectiveness by identifying and storing the items used, maintaining the area and items, and sustaining the new order.
ABK AOTS DOSOKAI is a registered society formed voluntarily by Engineers, Executives, Entrepreneurs, and others who had their Training with Japanese companies, through ABK, AOTS, Japan Foundation, JICA, with clear focus to work as a Bridge between Japan and India in all spheres. The motto and mission is to offer the concepts and methodology of world famous Japanese Shop Floor Improvement Techniques, Production and Quality Management and Cross Cultural Management Training to the Indian Engineers and work force.
The ABK AOTS DOSOKAI Tamilnadu centre organizes an annual meet to support the Industries across sectors to help them in improving their Standard Operating Protocol using the Japanese techniques to achieve Total Quality in the productivity.
Aachi Spices and Foods – Veg Pickle division was audited for the 5S Techniques and was adjudged FIRST PRIZE in the 9th ABK AOTS CDISSIA 5S ANNUAL AWARD in recognition of outstanding leadership and commitment exhibited by the company in the journey to become a 5S MODEL COMPANY.
The chairman of the “AACHI” group, Mr. Padmasingh Isaac received the PRIZE award at the function held by the group on 24th November 2012, at The Accord Metropolitan Hotel, Chennai from Mr. Shinya Fujii – Director General Japan External Trade Organization – JETRO.
Mr.A.D.Padmasingh Isaac, Founder and Chairman of Aachi Group of Companies was awarded the CSR Excellence Award 2012 by FICCI and University of Madras at a function held at Chennai on 6th September, 2012.
The Award was conferred by Mr.M.Narendra, Chairman and Managing Director, Indian Overseas Bank in the presence of Dr.G.Thiruvasagam, Vice Chancellor University of Madras, Mr.Murari, Advisor to FICCI President and Deputy High Commissioner of U.K.
